The Midland HH50 Pocket Weather Alert Radio is the perfect portable companion that can alert you to incoming weather emergencies, hazardous conditions and a variety of other hazards. It's easy to use, affords instant access to weather and features a telescopic antenna for crystal clear reception. The HH50 is equipped with seven preset weather channels, a frequency band between 162.400 and 162.550 MHz and an alert with a 1050 Hz tone. It's also equipped with a belt clip and wrist strap for convenient carrying options.

The HH50 helps you avoid hazardous conditions in a variety of ways. It features Alert Override to automatically warn you of hazardous conditions - even when your radio is on standby mode. Upon start-up, the radio performs an Autoscan to locate a weather channel, which makes finding your local weather channel quick and easy. It has an Alert Test Mode, as well as an All Hazards Alert. This last feature provides a number of other emergency announcements besides weather conditions. It alerts you to a child abduction (Amber Alert) emergency; a nuclear power plant warning; a biological hazard warning; a civil emergency message; a fire warning and even a landslide warning. With this variety of hazard alerts and weather warnings, the HH50 is sure to keep you informed if an emergency is happening in the area.
