The Covert is a 3/4 scale, pocket clip version of the Gerber original Combat Folder.

A totally relevant knife for today's deployed military, the Covert folder's powerful design is highly adaptive for storage due to its being a folding knife, while the blade, when extended, provides the same strength as a fixed blade knife. The patented blade lock lever, a secondary manual locking system, can be flipped into place with the thumb as it presses into the hilt of the handle, and prevents the open blade from closing on the hand of the operator for absolute confidence in its use.

With a 3 ? inch double bevel partially serrated blade made of 154 CM stainless steel, the Covert folder is an elegant close-quarter conflict knife. Dual thumb studs are present for easy one-hand opening of the blade, its face etched with the Applegate and Fairbairn signatures. Featuring a patented secondary blade locking system, a grooved glass-filled nylon handle, and a stainless pocket clip, the Applegate-Fairbairn Covert folding knife looks and feels as impressive and beautifully balanced as its name suggests.
